Normie H. Tindell Passes Away Thursday

Normie H. Tindell, 83, of Garnavillo died Thursday night, Jan. 25, 1973 in the Uriell Rest Home.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 27 in the Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home at Guttenberg. Burial was in the Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Cora) Remy of East Moline, Ill., eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren, seven sisters: Mrs. Effie Tomkins of Charles City, Mrs. Edith Block of Guttenberg, Mrs. Jenny Rollof (sic) of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Hazel Riegel and Mrs. Lorena Sannes, both of El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Alice Lawson of Waukon, and Mrs. Lee (Evelyn) Phillip of Dayton, Ohio, and a brother, Howard of Greeley.

Submitter notes: Normie (Norman) was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harry Tindell and Glen Tindell of Postville, Iowa. Glen owned a shoe store in Postville for many years.
