Agnes Parker, age 76 of Prairie du Chien, died Wednesday October 23, 2002, at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Agnes S. Parker was born July 17, 1926, in Waukon, the daughter of Reuben and Lillian (Spores) Knickerbocker. She married Kenneth Parker on March 19, 1946, in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1987. She owned and operated Mi-Lady Beauty Salon in Prairie du Chien for many years. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Church and the Eagles Club Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Wayne (Deanna) Parker of Janesville, Wis.; one daughter, Shari (John) Huza of Platteville, Wis.; one brother Gary (Judy) Knickerbocker of Prairie du Chien; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Cora and Louise Knickerbocker. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, October 26, 2002, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Rev. John Wambach S.J. officiating, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien assisted with arrangements.
