George Moore, Moneek, Passes Away Suddenly
Geo. Moore, a well known resident of the Moneek neighborhood, northwest of Postville, passed away suddenly last Friday while in Castalia on business.
As we hear it Mr. Moore had marketed a calf in Castalia late last Friday afternoon, and being given a check in payment went to the bank to get it cashed, but arriving there after banking hours he was told the time lock was on and they would be unable to get the cash with which to pay him until Saturday morning. Mr. Moore then turned to leave the bank and just as he reached the door he was seen to fall to the floor, apparently in a faint. Bank employees hurried to his assistance and a doctor was hastily summoned, who pronounced the man dead, doubtless a victim of heart failure.

This was on the same page as my great-grandfather's obit and was probably from the Postville Herald 1938. Thought someone might be interested.
