Dennis Richard Martin II

Dennis Richard "Denny" Martin II, age 33, a wonderful daddy to his five-year old son, Dennis Martin III, and a devoted, loving husband to his wife, Holly Michelli Martin of Hammond, LA, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007 as a result of a motorcycle/vehicle accident.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 14 in the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, LA. A military interment was held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Michael Bush conducted the funeral service, and Randy Bush gave the eulogy.

Denny was a native of Albany, LA, served his country in the United States Navy, and was a member of Calvary Christian Center in Hammond, LA. He was loved by his parents, Dennis "Marty" and Deanna Martin of Albany, LA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessica and Dewayne Crayton of Albany, LA and Amanda and Mark Schenk of Holden, LA. He was adored by his nephews and nieces, Blake Allen Crayton, Lathon Schenk, Alyssa Crayton and Shelby Schenk, and he was a delightful son-in-law to Frank and Linda Michelli of Hammond, LA and to his grandmother-in-law, Thelma Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hazel and Jim Martin, and maternal grandparents, Lillie Mae and John Huszar.
