Mrs. Martha Renk, 79, of New Albin, died Friday, December 6, 1974, in a Waukon nursing home.

She was born March 15, 1895, in Union City Township to Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Welper and married Herman Renk February 20, 1921 in St. Luke's Church, Eitzen, Minnesota. They lived all their married life in Union City Township, with the exception of two years in Houston County.

Survivors are two sons, Jerome of Janesville, Wisconsin; and Norman of New Albin; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Freida) Wiemerslage of New Albin; and Mrs. Charles (Ida) King of Waukon; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held Monday in New Albin Chapel, Rev. C. Kent Wever officiating.
