Alma Claudine Mary Willman
Funeral services for Alma Willman were held Tuesday, September 3, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. The soloist, Mrs. Leonard Crawford, was accompanied by Marian Schutte, organist. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
Alma Claudine Mary (Reinhardt) Willman, 85, daughter of Harry and Martha (Duwe) Reinhardt, was born March 13, 1906 in Clayton County near Postville, IA. She died Friday, August 30, 1991, in the Aase Haugen Home at Decorah, IA.
She was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Postville, IA, by the Rev. E. Schmitt. Alma attended the Grand Meadow School. On May 6, 1925 she was married to Paul Henry Willman by the Rev. Finck at Postville, IA. They had two sons. They farmed for 18 years and in 1943 they moved to Frankville.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul, who died September 6, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Paul G. and his wife, Dorothy, Eureka Springs, AR, and Lyle and his wife, Estella, of Poway CA; six grandchildren: James Willman, Mary Cooley, Marie Sands, John Willman, Paula Torkelson and Beverly Dickerson; 12 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Hattie Rose and Amanda Schultz, both of Postville.
Casket bearers were Byron Schultz, Ted Feickert, Leonard Crawford, Earl Koenig, Leo Berg and Roman Hageman.
