Funeral Services Held For Bonnie Wittenberger

Funeral services for Bonnie Wittenberger were held Thursday, March 3, 1983 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Littleton, Colorado. The Rev. Willard Rinnert officiated. Burial was in the Littleton Cemetery.

Bonnie J. Wittenberger, daughter of Leslie and Viola (Kinsel) Klemme, was born June 17, 1944 at Postville, Iowa and passed away February 26, 1983. She was baptized Oct. 22, 1944 and confirmed March 30, 1958 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Postville. She graduated from Postville High School in May, 1962 and worked as a Lab Technician at the Mayo Clinic and Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

June 26, 1965, she was married to John Carl Wittenberger at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Postville. Two children were born to this union at Rochester, New York. She moved to Colorado with her family in 1969. Besides being a homemaker, she was active in youth soccer.

She was preceded in death by her father January 20, 1963. Surviving are her husband John, a son Michael David, a daughter Julie Ann, her mother Viola Klemme and other relatives and friends.
