Rites Held For Otto E. Goeke
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, 1:30 p.m., at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Ludlow for Otto E. Goeke, who passed away at his home in Ludlow Friday.
Mr. Goeke was found dead in his home by his son, Robert, who had stopped by to see his father. The Schutte Funeral service was in charge of the burial.
Otto E. Goeke was born on December 18, 1880 at Waukon, a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Goeke. He was baptized at the Zalmona church in Ludlow and was confirmed in the Bethlehem church in Ludlow by the Rev. Angelkah.
On April 11, 1906 he was united in marriage to the former Amelia Adam, and to this union three children were born, Mrs. Elmer Klepper (Inez), Mrs. Edwin Klepper (Ida), and one son, Robert. Also surviving in addition to his children are 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Straate (Anna), and Mrs. Albert Kiesau (Inez).
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one sister, Mrs. Theodore Selberg (Clara).
