The funeral of Alois Gang whose death took place Wednesday last, was held on Sunday at 10 c'clock a. m., the services being conducted in May's Prairie Church. Rev. Schuldt officiating. Mr. Gang was an early settler in that community coming from Germany in 1854 and in 1861 he married Mrs. Magdalena Ebner, who died in 1876 leaving five sons. Two of these, J. C. Ebner and Herman Gang are resident of this county, while K. F. His son Joseph arrived the day before his death, and the others on Saturday, so that all his family were present to lay away the remains of a most kind affectionate father.
