Services for George Russell Jr.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 10 from St. Barnabas Catholic church in Mazomanie, Wis., for George Russell Jr., 42, who died Friday, Dec. 7 at his home in Mazomanie. The Rev. John Hebl officiated.

He was born in Arena township in Wisconsin, and was a graduate of Barneveld, Wisconsin high school. He served in the Marine Corps for four and one half years in the Korean conflict. He married Theresa Powers Jan. 8, 1955. He had been employed in Madison, Wis. For the past 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Terrance and Thomas, and a daughter Cheryl , all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Russell Sr., a brother Roger and a sister Mrs. Roland Webb, all of Mountain Grove, Mo. He is also survived by three brothers, Albert of Mazomanie, David of Dallas, Texas and Joe with the Army in Germany; seven sisters, Mrs. Earl Zezulka of Dorchester, Mrs. Leon Fassbender of Sauk City, Mrs. Milo Jones of Orfordville, Wis., Mrs. Raymond Walenton of Whitewater, Wis., Mrs. Orville Anderson of Mt. Horeb, Wis., Mr. Merton Phipps of Waukon and Mrs. Eugene Carlin of De Forest, Wis.
