Funeral services were held on Wednesday of last week for Mrs. Peter (Inez) Hosch, 76, of New Albin. She died on May 31 in a La Crosse, Wisc. hospital.
She was born on July 1, 1899 in New Albin to Alex and Jennie Woods.
She married Peter Hosch on April 30, 1918 in New Albin. He preceded her in death in May of 1965.
Surviving are three sons; Leon of New Albin, Orval of Fair Haven, N.J., and Donald of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Fitzgerald of Pensacola, Fla. and Mrs. Henry (Belva) Becker of New Albin; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Erma Schoening of Minneapolis, Minn.
Rev. Linus Rasing officiated at the 10 a.m. services which were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Burke-Thornburg of Lansing was in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Raymond Sires, Peter Hartley, Gilman Beeler, Leonard Heiderscheit, Gerald Darling and Eldon Kramer.
Honorary pallbearers were Alfred Tabatt, Frank Weymiller. Herman Dannenbring. Nick Strub, Ernest Richards and Harry Lenz.
