Mrs. Florence Visger, age 99, a resident of Hillview Health Center, La Crosse, WI, died Tuesday evening, February 19, 1991.
She was born in Jefferson Township, MN, on June 17, 1891. She married Clyde Visger and they had three children; Leslie, Lila and Leonard.
Florence had been a housewife most of her life and celebrated 50 years of marriage before her husband's death.
She is survived by one son, Leonard, and his wife, Helen, of La Crosse; six grandchildren
and many great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Leslie and Lila.
Funeral services were held Thursday evening, February 21, in Woodruff Funeral Home, La Crosse, WI, with Rev. James E. Barsch officiating. Graveside services were held Friday morning at the New Albin Cemetery, New Albin, IA.
Pallbearers were Herbert Zarwell, Cleon Sires, Joel Sires, Ray Whalen, Bernard Mauss and Bud Fink.
