Joseph N. Plagge, 20, of New Albin, died Saturday morning, March 2, 1991, as a result of a one-car accident near Reno, MN.
Joe was born February 8, 1971, in La Crosse to Dixie (Paus) and Gerald Plagge of New Albin. He graduated from Kee High School and was employed as a body repairman at Eversole Motors, La Crosse, WI.
Survivors besides his parents include one brother, Jeremiah, at home; his grandfather, Harold Paus, Eitzen, MN; and his grandmother, Evelyn Plagge, New Albin.
Services were held Tuesday, March 5, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. Rev. Nancy Anderson and Fr. Henry Charipar officiated. Burial was in the New Albin City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Paus, Joel Wurm, Jim Hosch, Chris Schoh, Kraig Leppert and Mike Konkel.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Sam Wurm, Tim Paus, Scott Colsch, Ron Konkel, Jeff Meyer, Janice Mellick and Dale Krambeer.
Burke Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, was in charge of arrangements.

NEW ALBIN YOUTH KILLED OVER WEEKEND
Joseph Plagge, 20, of New Albin, was found dead Saturday morning following a one-car traffic accident about four miles north of the Iowa border.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Plagge was found at 9 a.m. on Hwy. 26. They believe the accident occurred sometime between 2 and 5 a.m.
Plagge was southbound when his car ran off the left side of the road, striking a tree. He was ejected from the car, authorities said.
The accident was investigated by the State Patrol and the Houston County Sheriff's Department
