Mrs. Herman H. Binger, 78 years of age, Tulare, S.D. resident, who died at her home November 13, 1951, was given funeral services November 16 at the Congregational church in Redfield, S.D. with the Rev. Harvey Sander of Tulare, S.D. and the Rev. H.D. Clark of Plankinton, S.D. officiating. The interment was at the Greenlawn cemetery, Redfield, S.D. beside her husband, the late H.H. Binger, who passed away March, 1942.

Emma Dorothy Roeber, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Roeber, was born in Dorchester, IA, May 16, 1873. She lived there six years, coming to South Dakota in 1879 with her parents, brother and sisters.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith when a child.

On October 20, 1892, she was united in marriage to Mr H.H. Binger. They lived on a farm in Buffalo township until 1931, when they moved to Tulare. This union was blessed with 12 children, three of whom preceded her in death.

Mrs. Binger is survived by nine children, Mrs. Warner M. Hub­bard of Clear Lake, IA; William
S. Binger of Sioux City, IA; Mrs. Asbury Stromberg of Long Island, N.Y.; Miss Edna Binger of Chicago, IL; Mr. Herbert H. Binger of Tulare, S.D.; Mrs. George Eitreim of Sacred Heart, MN; Miss Florence E. Binger of Miami, FL; Mrs. Grant D. Hanson of Ames, IA; and Milton R. Binger of Cheyenne, WY. Also surviving are three brothers, Martin and Henry Roeber of Tulare, S.D. and Louis of Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Mary Schultz of Tulare, S.D.; nine grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.

All the sons and daughters were able to attend the funeral. In addition others here were Lt. Wm. P. Binger of Camp Pickett, VA; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Kronlokkin of Sacred Heart, MN; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Cross and Iva Cross of Randolph, S.D.; Rev. and Mrs. H.D. Clark of Plankinton, S.D.; and Mr. and Mrs. George Ost of Toronto, S.D.
