Waukon Attorney Sherman Hart Dies

Waukon – Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic church for Waukon Attorney Sherman Hart, 64, who died in his sleep Saturday night. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

It was the third death in the Hart family since Jan. 1, Mr. Hart’s wife, LaVina, died Jan. 20, and his mother, Mrs. W. S. Hart, died recently in San Diego.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Thomas O’Regan, Washington, D.C.; two sons, Maurice and William, who were engaged in law practice with their father in Waukon; and a brother, James Hart, a Elkader lawyer.

Mr. Hart received his law degree from the University of Minnesota and following his graduation went into law practice with his father, the late W. S. Hart, in Waukon.

The Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 9 p.m. at Martin’s
