Dell B. Pottratz, 76, of Grant, MN, and formerly of Eitzen, MN, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at his home. He was born November 4, 1927, in Waukon, IA to Leo and Cecil (Hartley) Pottratz. Dell served in the United States Navy during WWII. On November 25, 1954, he married Mary Jane Frank in Caledonia, MN.
Dell was employed as an electrician for Muska Electric Company in Roseville for 39 years, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include his wife Mary Jane; one son, John (Bonnie); one daughter, Jean; three grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Pottratz, Neva (Chuck) Auenson, and Alice (Walt) Gensmer; one sister-in-law, Ione Frank; two nieces; and two nephews.
Dell was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were Sunday, March 21, at 3 p.m. at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, Eitzen. Rev. Wayne Lura officiated. Burial with military honors was in the church cemetery. Friends called at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
