Died, at his home near Dorchester, on Friday, Oct. 30, 1903, Steve Burroughs, in the 74th year of his age. Mr. Burroughs was highly esteemed and respected by both young and old. He leaves besides his aged wife, three sons and two daughters, to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father. Funeral was conducted from the family home on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Father McCullough of Dorchester preaching the most beautiful sermon. Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery on the ridge.
