Obituary of Amelia Reincke Willman

RITES ARE HELD
FOR MRS. WILLMAN
Amelia Sophia Maria Reincke,the daughter of Carl Reincke and Maria Schultz Reincke was born July 30,1885 in Clayton County, Iowa.She was baptized in St. Paul`s Evangelical Lutheran Church,Postville on May 30,1886 by Rev. John Days.She was confirmed in St. Paul`s on March 28,1899 by the Rev. Bockelmann.
She was married to Rudolph Willman on April 23,1907.Tto this union were born five children,Elsie,Lester,Harlan,Avila and Lorenz.
Mrs. Willman has been in failing health for several years, and in recent months has been completely confined to her bed. She died August 6,1960 at the home of her daughter,Mrs. Fred Hangartner.
She was preceded in death by her parents,one son,Harlan,two sisters,Mrs. Eda Meyer of Postville, and Mrs.Anna Saueressigg of Postville: two brothers,Arthur and Charles of Postville.
She is survived by two daughter,Elsie,Mrs. Fred Hangartner of Postville,Lavila Schmidt of Postville: two sons,Lester and Lorenz of Postville: one sister,Mary Krogman of Postville;one brother Fred Reincke of Postville,seven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
She was a life-long member of St. Paul`s Lutheran Church,a life member of the United Lutheran Church Women,and an honor roll member of the United Lutheran Church Women,and a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Postville.
Funeral Monday
Funeral services were held at St. Paul`s Evangelical Lutheran Church,Postville,Monday,August 3,1960 at 2:00p.m. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery with The Rev. Charles E. Witt officiating.
