Reinetta "Nettie" Hooker, 83, of Lansing and formerly of Lodi, Wi died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Thornton Manor in Lansing. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Hamre Funeral Home in Lodi, WI. Burial was in County Line Cemetery in Dane County.

Reinetta was born in Merrimac, Wi May 3, 1923 to Julius and Mary (Klappstein) Schultz. She married Ernest Hooker July 26, 1941 and they farmed in the Lodi area from 1944 to 1970, when they moved into Lodi, which is where she lived until 2001, when she moved to Lansing.

Reinetta is survived by one daughter, Marion (Tom) Guider of Lansing; five grand-children, Susan, Cathy, Jim, Steve and Angie; eight great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Ethel Smith of Baraboo, Wi, Delores (Don) Droste of Portage, Wi, Eldora (Dallas) Schaefer of Waunakee, Wi, LaVerne Schultz of Baraboo, Wi and Willis (Lyla) Schultz of Merrimac, Wi.

Reinetta was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1975; one grandchild, Jeff Guider, one sister, Evelyn Newton; and a brother Delbert Schultz.
