Miss Lillie Colsch, Age 11 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Colsch, died on the 29th at the residence of Dr. Harrington of New Albin where she was under medical treatment. The sad news was a shock to her many friends as the general belief was that she was improving, but God willed it otherwise and took from this earth one of its fairest flowers, a sweet, loving child, ever ready to add sunshine to gloom and to aid others in whatever her little hands could fine to do.

The funeral services were conducted by the pastor of the German Methodist church of May’s Prairie and the Lutheran church of New Albin. Interment took place in the New Albin Cemetery.
