Mrs Burroughs Funeral Today

Last rites for Mrs. Lawrence Burroughs, 50, New Albin, were held at 9 a.m. today for Mrs. Lawrence Burroughs, who died at her home Tuesday. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Colsch, born July 11, 1906, in Allamakee county. She married Lawrence Burroughs July 6, 1927, and the couple lived for a short time at LaPorte City, before moving to New Albin.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Lawrence and Michael; one daughter, Mrs. Geo. (Belva) Ashbacher, Waterville, three sisters, Mrs. Ole Erickson, Bremerton, Wash.; Mrs. Joe Henry and Mrs. Francis Gerkey, Waukon; four brothers, Charles, Pontiac, Mich.; George, Waukon, and Nick and Leo, New Albin; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
