FOR MRS.SCHUTTE

Ida Lina Auguste Schultz,daughter of Carl and Maria Krogmann Schultz,was born December 7, 1887,in Grand Meadow Township,Clayton county. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith in St. Paul`s Lutheran Church,Postville,June 10,1888.She received her schooling in the country schools near her home.

She was confirmed into the Lutheran faith at St. John Lutheran Church,Luana, on March 31, 1901.

On March 8, 1928,she was married to Charles Schutte in Elkader. The couple lived on the Grand Meadow Township farm west of Luana until they retired to Postville in 1947.

Mrs. Schutte has had arthritis and been ill for quite some time. Five weeks ago she was taken to the Community Memorial Hospital,Postville,where she passed away April 9,1965.She attained the age of 77 years,four months and two days.

Preceding her in death were her parents:four brothers,Henry,William,Fred, and Louis: and one stepson Arthur.Left to mourn her
