Ellen Aurilla White Beighle Waterman

Ellen Aurilla White was born 16 Dec 1856 in Allamakee Co., IA. Her parents were Elisha John and Martha Crane. Ellen first married a man named Isaac Beighle. He was born around 1853 in PA or WI. He died before 1880 and is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Union City. They had two kids William Henry and George Beighle. In 1880 Ellen was a servant for a family in Ludlow, IA. The families last name was Fuller. She also had her son George who lived with the family. Also in 1880, Martha White (Ellens mother) was living in Ludlow, Allamakee, IA with her two youngest daughters and grandson William Beighley. Anyways Ellen Married Jeremiah D. Waterman "Jerry" around 1881. Ellen and Jerry had 4 children : Charles Oscar (1886-1976), Henry O. (1884-1954), Vera O. Waterman Kruger (1886-1979), and Verna Waterman Quandahl (1889-1975). One of Ellens sons from her first marriage William Henry Beighle, he married Emma Catherine Rekward. They had 4 children in Allamakee County. Lloyd, Frank, Austin, and Marian. Frank and Austin were twins born in 1915 and they both died in 1915. Many of these Beighle and Waterman families are buried in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. Ellen 25 Jul 1944 and is also buried in Oakland Cemetery.
