I don't know who Dugal Campbell Pumroy's parents were, but I know that James Pumroy Campbell was the son of James Crawford Campbell and Ruth Hannah Pumroy. Ruth was born abt 1797 in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania. She married James P. 5 July, 1818, in Stark county, Ohio. Benjamin Campbell was the son of James C. and his second wife, Mary Ruth Robertson. I hope this Pumroy/Campbell connection is of some help to you.
