There is an Edna Fay Reed enumerated in Douglas Township, Clay County, Iowa in the 1910 census. This Douglas is in Clay and not the same as the Douglas Township in Adams County, Iowa.

This Edna Fay Reed was born on 2 October 1902 in Garfield Township, Clay County, Iowa to George M. Reed and Lizzie Carey Reed. By 1920, the family was enumerated in Kuna, Ada County, Idaho.

George M. Reed and Lizzie Carey were married on 25 December 1901 in Webb, Clay County, Iowa. The marriage application lists:

George M. Reed, age 22, born Clay County, Iowa
Lizzie Carey, age 24, born Bangor, Marshall County, Iowa
Groom's Father's Name: I.N. Reed
Groom's Mother's Name: Mary Mcclay
Bride's Father's Name: S. Carey
Bride's Mother's Name: Alice Hill

Other children in the Clay County Birth Records born to George and Lizzie Reed are:
Mary Ada Reed, born 22 May 1912
