Mrs. Len Riegel passed away quite suddenly Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from tuberculosis at the home on Fifth Street. She had been ill for a couple of years following an attack of malarial fever, which developed into the disease which caused her death. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Christian Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. C. Sitts. Interment was made in the Brooks Cemetery. Alma Sutton was born June 8, 1890 at Brooks and was aged 22 years, 11 months and 11 days. She was married to Len M. Riegel April 1, 1908, residing in this vicinity nearly all her married life One child Dorothy Charlotte was born to them and is 3 years of age. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sutton of Bentley were in attendance at the funeral, also her young brothers and sisters. Mrs. Riegel was very patient during her illness and was aware that the end was near and conversed with friends to the last.
