Mrs. Ellen Margaret Willey died of consumption at the home of her son Frank in Nodaway, Iowa on Saturday, November 18, 1899, aged fifty-one years, eight months, and three days. Mrs. Willey was born in Pennsylvania March 15, 1848. She has been a resident of this county for a number of years and was respected by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. The funeral services were conducted from the M. E. Church in Nodaway last Sunday, the resident pastor officiating and The burial ceremony was by W.R.C. at Nodaway Cemetery, where interment was made.
