Merle Robison, 96, Corning, was born October 23, 1898 in Adams County, Iowa to Melvin and Lettie May Crist Means. She died February 25, 1995 at Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa.
She married George Elliott Robison on November 29, 1915 in Carbon, Iowa.
Mrs. Robison was a lifetime resident of Adams County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prescott United Church (Disciples of Christ).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1977; a son, Harris; three grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Caroll (wife Dorothy) Robison, Corning, Dean (wife Wilma) Robison, Trimble, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Doris McVay, Anita, Velma Lee and Manola Freemyer, both of Creston.
Services were held February 27, at the Roland Lindsay Chapel in Corning with Rev. Jeanne Groom officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Quincy.
Casket bearers were her grandchildren.
Roland Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home, Corning was in charge of arrangements.
