Died in Montana
Frank Johnson received a telegram this morning announcing the death of his mother, Mrs. Virginia Johnson, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Ricker, at Hurley, South Dakota. No particulars are given, except that the remains will arrive in Corning tomorrow.

Mrs. Nancy Parcher and daughter, Mrs. Jay McCain, attended the funeral of Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Hurlev, South Dakota, which was held at Corning, Friday afternoon. Mrs. Johnson was formerly a Nodaway resident and will be remembered by many of our older residents.
