Floyd Paul Neill, son of Nettie and Sam Neill, born October 13, 1897 in Douglas Township, Adams County, Iowa, entered into rest September 17, 1964 at the Colonial Rest Home in Lenox, Iowa at the age of 66 years, 11 months, and 24 days.
On October 15, 1918, Mr. Neill was united in marriage to Clarisa Lincoln. To this union five children were born, Floy Pauline Wage, of Fremont, Nebraska, Samuel Lincoln of Mesa, Arizona, Allen Clair of Denver, Colorado, Clarisa Ernestine Hiley of Avoca; Walter Eugene, deceased.
On August 22, 1950, his wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include his four children; two daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Harold of Corning and Ernest of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Douglas of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Ruth Roache of Cowrie, and Mrs. Dorothy Wilmarth of Creston.
Services were conducted Sunday, September 20 at 2 p.m. from the Presbyterian Church in Nodaway with Rev. Nadium officiating. Masonic rites were held at graveside. Music was by Carol Campbell, Sharon Campbell, and Mrs. Casey Johnson. Pall bearers were Clement Jacob, Clarence Strain, Gilbert Rider, Joe Scanian, Kenneth Stuck, and Thomas E. Lincoln. Flower bearers were Mrs. Fred Kennedy, Mrs. Clement Jacobs, and Mrs. Leslie Cromwell. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery.
