Heart Attack Fatal to Former Buisnessman, LaVerne (Bill) Parker
Funeral services for LaVerne (Bill) Parker, 56, of Corning, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church here, conducted by Rev. W. H. Sinning.
Mr. Parker died unexpectedly early Monday morning at Rosary Hospital here, after suffering a heart attack. He formerly operated a cleaning business here and also worked for the Western Light and Telephone Company.
He was employed by Charles Wever and Associates at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, a Corning junior high school teachers, three sisters, Mrs. Harry Caven of Corning, Mrs. W. H. Baker and Mrs. L. R. Anstey of Creston; one brother Edward of Lakewood, Colorado.
Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery.
