Mrs. F. M. Lane received a call on Monday morning saying her sister, Mrs. Roy Booe of Nodaway was much worse. Mrs. Lane secured the services of Dan Daggett who took her to Nodaway in his car, but her sister had passed away about 30 minutes before Mrs. Lane's arrival. This is sad. They, like her, had been hoping that the change of climate, coming from Texas, and also being back among her relatives might effect a cure for Mrs. Booe, but all that physicians skills and loving hands of dear ones could do was of no avail. Funeral services were held in Nodaway at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
