Dallas Hickman, age 79 of Corning passed away November 17, 2006 at
Corning, Iowa. Services were held Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at
Coen Beaty Pearson Family Funeral Service in Corning with Mr. Larry
Johnson officiating. Burial in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Online condolences

Dallas Hickman was born February 24, 1927 in Mt. Etna, Iowa the son of
Isom Loten Hickman and Hattie Thompson. He graduated from Corning
High School in 1944. On October 10, 1952 he was united in marriage to
Donna Jean Smith in Corning, Iowa. He was a lifetime farmer, loved
hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dallas is survived by his wife Donna Hickman of Mt. Etna, Iowa; sons, Rick (Lynn)
Hickman, Melbourne, Iowa, Randy (Vicki) Hickman, Winterset, Iowa and Kenneth
(Friend Mark Watson) Hickman, Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren, Brian,
Trevor, Jessica and Tara; four great grandchildren, Alexis, Mercedes, Seth
and Paige; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Armstrong of Corning.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kenneth; half-brother Leland
Fisher; half sisters, Neta Davis and Ruby Newbury; niece, Kay Hayes; three
sisters-in-law, Maybelle Dueling, Mary Yearington and Beverly Snyder; two
brothers-in-law, Ronald Smith and Paul Swain.
