Last week we mentioned the death of Mrs. Joseph Narigon, near Nodaway. Friends will be interested in the following obituary: Adelaide Humphrey was born in Warren, Jefferson County, Ohio, November 15, 1844, and died at her home, four miles north of Nodaway, January 24, 1921. She was the only daughter of David and Malinda Humphrey. Her mother passed away when the daughter was only two years of age and Mrs. James McElroy, of Bushnell, Ill, reared the subject of this sketch. Miss Humphrey was married to Joseph Narogon at Bushness, Ill., December 10, 1868. Mr. Narigon preceded his wife in death, passing away on the 27th of February, 1908. To Mr. and Mrs. Narigon nine children were born. They are Nellie Rhoades, of Lincoln township; Mrs. Belle Toohey, of Strand; William Narigon, of Nodaway; Oscar Narigon, near the old home; Mrs. Susie Crawford, of Colorado and John and Addie, at home; one daughter died in infancy, and David H. Narigon passed away in March, 1916. Mrs. Narigon lived in the vicinity of Nodaway for fifty years. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church, with which she united in 1891, under the ministry of Rev. J.K. Driver. She was one of the splendid women who will long be remembered and missed from the community

Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church in Nodway last Wednesday at 12 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Silias R. Overholser, assisted by Rev. Ivan R. Mills. The body was laid to rest in Nodaway cemetery, beside the husband.
