Everett William Fudge, son of Henry E. Fudge and Alice Welch Fudge, as born May 13, 1913 near Bedford, Iowa and departed this life April 10, 1960 at the Park Avenue Hospital in Pamona, California at the age of 51 years and 23 days.
When Everett was quite small his parents moved to Adams County where he grew to manhood.
On September 25, 1931 he was united in marriage to Bernadean Chapman at Maryville, Missouri. To this union two children were born, one son, Boyd William Fudge and one daughter Linda Lee, who is at home.
Also left to mourn his loss; a daughter-in-law, Cleo, two grandchildren; Terri and Marty; three brothers, Albert of Corning and Clyde of Lyons, Colorado and Benny of La Plato, Missouri; five sisters, Jeanette Konecne and Elizabeth Hardisty of Corning, Mary Sprague and Katy Homan of Creston; Mable Kessler of Prescott; also a host of nephews and nieces. One brother, Joseph preceded him in death six years ago.
He and his family resided at Pamona and San Dimas, California for the past 11 years.
Services were held Thursday, April 14, 1960 at 2 p.m. from the Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Iowa with Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Music was by Mrs. Harold Hefling, Mrs. Glenn Tucker, and Mrs. John Champ. Pallbearers were Rex Badgett, Roy Badgett, Albert Schaffer, Walt Hill, Jack Kretzinger, and Clyde Stillinger. Interment was in Prairie Rose Cemetery.
