Mrs. Clara D. Kuhney died at her home in Corning Friday morning, February 2, 1912. She was born in Pennsylvania, February 8, 1844, and was a daughter of Gilbert and Amanda Hicks. She had been married twice. The first husband was Mr. Logan and two sons were born to this union, William Logan of Des Moines and Richard Logan of Denver. They survive their mother. The second marriage was to William Kuhney, who died several years go. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence of Mrs. W. T. Duer, a sister of the deceased. Rev. C. G. Marshall, pastor of the Congregational Church conducted the funeral. Interment was made in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Deceased leaves two brothers, Gilbert Hicks of Cromwell and one whose address we did not learn; also two sisters, Mrs. Duer of Corning and Mrs. Clary of Omaha, besides a number of other relatives.
