Anna Lucille, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Newton Beatty died at her home in Lucas, Iowa, Monday, May 27, 1901, aged 8 months, and 21 days, from the effects of an abcess of the brain. The funeral was preached at the Nodaway Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, May 28, at 11 a.m. by Father Rowley. The remains were laid to rest in the Nodaway Cemetery. Only a month ago the parents brought their three year old son here to be buried. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends here.
