Sarah Harriet Lawrence was born in Morgan County, Ohio, March 20, 1853, and died April 27, 1895, aged 42 years, 1 month and 7 days. When but two years old her parents removed to Quincy, Iowa, where her life has been spent. She was married at the age of 16 years to W.J. Gorsuch. Four children blessed this union, of whom only two remain living. She was left a widow, November 6,1887 and married again February 11, 1894, to Albert Campbell of Nodaway, Iowa. The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church at the time of her death. The funeral services were largely attended, conducted by the writer, from the family residence. The friends have the sympathyof the entire community where the deceased lived. A.Y.C.
