Bixler, August 14, 1893, at her home in Douglas Township, Mrs. Jackson Bixler aged about 49 yeas.
The funeral was held August 15, at Center school house. Rev. Barnes officiating and interment was in the Quincy Cemetery.
The maiden name of the decendent was Anna Penson. she came to Adams County with her parents when quite young. She was a devoted member of the M. E. Church and was highly respected by all her neighbors and acquaintances. The grief-stricken husband and one child survive her.
