PHYLLIS C. KENNEDY
Mrs. Phyllis Conway Kennedy, daughter of Dominic and Catherine Conway, was born Dec. 23.. 1889, at Nodaway, lowa and passed away Nov. 24, 1956, at her home south of Nodaway, at the age of 66 years, 11 months and one day.
Mrs. Kennedy has been cared for the past three years In her home by her husband and daughter. Mrs. Sarah Rider, and has been in failing health for the past six years.
January 12, 1910, she was united in marriage to William Kennedy at | Corning, and to this union four daughters were born: Sarah Rider of Nodaway, Mary Goldsmith of Corning, Grace Porter of Cedar Falls, and Helen Syhlman, of Dike, Iowa, who with their father survive. Mrs. Kennedy also reared a grandson, James Seldler, in her home.
In addition to the above, she Is also survived by her sons-in-law, 20 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church of Villisca, where funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 10 a. m. by the Revs. Eugene Klein and Paul Marasco in charge.
Interment was in Calvary cemetery at Creston, Iowa. Pall bearers were Joe Scanlan, Hugh Hogan, Malcolm Shipley, Joe Northup, Floyd Haley and Gerald Shipley.
