Carrie Josephine Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Robinson, was born at Quincy, Iowa, December 15, 1883, and at the time of her death [May 9,1909] was aged 25 years, 4 months and 24 days. She was married to Victor T. Dicks October 7, 1901, and to this union were born five children, all living, three sons and two daughters, the oldest being a son aged 7 and the youngest a daughter aged 15 months, who are thus , early in life deprived the loving care and guidance of a mother and father.
Mrs. Dicks is survived by her parents and three sisters and six brothers. The funeral occurred on Tuesday at 2 o'clock at her old home at Quincy conducted by Rev. A.Y. Cupp, assisted by Rev. J. H. Nayle. Interment was in the Quincy Cemetery.

Note:Both Mr. and Mrs. Dicks died as the result of a house fire,leaving five children.
