DIED- On February 1, 1894, at her home in Douglas township, Adams County, Iowa, Mrs. Nancy Emmeline Lawence, after a short illness. Nancy E. Strait was born January 8,1854, in Ohio. She was the youngest daughter of Jacob and Sarah Strait. Was married on December 22,1876, in this county. A husband and ten children are left to mourn the loss of a good wife and an affectionate mother. The services were conducted by Rev. Harned. Interment in the Baldwin Cemetery. The sumpathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and children.
