Wilma Fern Booth, daughter of John and Grace Myers Mitchell was born Feb. 13, 1921 at Brooks, Iowa, and passed away at the Sharp Memorial Hospital of San Diego. California, after a long illness, on Nov. 11, 1978.
She graduated from the Corning High School and was a rural school teacher for several years.
She was united in marriage in 1948 at San Diego, Ca. to Paul A. Booth who survives her. Other survivors are their sons, Bradford Booth and Douglas Booth and wife Gail; her mother, Mrs. Grace Mitchell of Brooks, la.; her mother-in-law. Mrs. Helen Booth of San Diego, Ca.: one sister, Mrs. Lois E. Septer of Corning and a brother. Glen Mitchell of Council Bluffs, other relatives and many friends.
Her father. John Mitchell of Brooks preceded her in death in 1967 and also her father-in-law, Percy Booth in 1978.
Funeral services were held at Greenwood Mortuary Nov. 15 at 1:00 o'clock, with Rev. H. W. Mitschke officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
Music was provided by Violet Hamilton, organist. Pallbearers were Bradford Booth, Douglas Booth, Richard Booth, Jim Booth, Eddie Cox and Wally Weisman.
