Robert A. Gill, Jr
The community was saddened Monday evening by the news of the death of Robert Gill, the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gill of the Iveyville
community. The little one had been subject to hemorrhages during his short life and because of this had been cared for very tenderly. A few days ago he suffered a fall, striking his head which it is believed brought on a hemorrhage in the brain which could not be controlled and he passed away about eight o'clock Monday evening. August 19, at the age of 6 years. 11 months and 13 days.
Robert was born September 6, 1922, in Adams county. He is survived by his sorrowing parents, a younger sister. Peggy, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at the Iveyville Church Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m conducted by Rev. Kelley of Nevinville. Interment will be made in Prairie rose Cemetery.
Many expressions of sympathy and love have softened the grief of this heart broken family in the loss of their darling child.
