Francis Marie Hardisty, 88, was born May 18, 1904, in Adams County to James Franklin and Mamie Clinton Dillon, and died April 16, 1993, at Greater Community Hospital in Creston.
Services were held Monday, April 19, from Roland-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home here, the Rev. Gerry Kahler officiating. Burial was in the Carl Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardisty was a homemaker. She married Forrest Hardisty on Aug. 27, 1923, in Bridgewater. She was a member of the Carl United Methodist Church and lived most of her life in,the Carl community.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; and a son, Delmar.
Survivors include two sons, Darwin (wife Margaret) Hardisty and Donald (wife Donna) Hardisty; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers were, Ronald Jackson, Paul Hardisty, Bob DeVore, Ronald Sprague, Danny Glassinger, and Glenn Hardisty
