The community was shocked and saddened Wednesday evening when word flashed around of the sudden passing of Mrs. Edd Hardisty, who took suddenly sick and all that medical help and willing neighbors could do was of no avail. The funeral was Satuday afternoon at Mercer Church, which was the largest held there, bespoke the friends she made in this community during the few years of residence here and all join in extending sympathy to the family and relatives.
