Leah J. Bowers was born in 1857 to George Bowers and Susanna H. Schuler. She married George Washington Lacock on October 10, 1883 in Corning, Adams County, Iowa. To them was born one son, Frederick Virgil Lacock. She died in May 1940 and is buried in the Villisca Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Artie White attended the funeral for Mrs. Lacox of Villisca.
