George Washington Lacock, a highly respected citizen of this locality died at his home in Villisca last Friday, April 22, 1938, at the age of 82 years. He had been sick for several months and had failed gradually for some time.
He has been a resident of Adams, Taylor, and Montgomery County. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, two brothers, four grandchildren, and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m at the Advent Church in Villisca and burial was in the Villisca Cemetery.
