Bubb, Lonnie Alexander -
Lonnie Alexander Bubb died at his home in Lenox early Monday morning. Death was thought to have been caused by heart disease. Mr. Bubb awakened at the usual time and seemed to be well, but before he could get out of bed had died.

Mr. Bubb was born April 15, 1882, at Lenox.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church. Services at the grave will be in charge of the Masonic fraternity.

Alexander, Lonnie Alexander -
Lon Bubb, second son of Jessie and Levi Bubb, was born on a farm in Adams County, Iowa, on the 15th day of April,1882, and departed from this life at
his home in Lenox, February 20, 1939, at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 5 days.

Mr. Bubb spent his entire life in the vicinity of Lenox and became a well known and respected citizen. On December 24, 1907, he was united in marriage to Miss Elsie Einfeldt and settled on his paternal homestead where he remained for 15 years. Ten children were born to this home, eight of whom still survive. One son Everett and one daughter Lela, preceded him in death.

At the age of 15 years, he united with the Presbyterian church of Lenox and ever remained a faithful member, having at one time served as elder. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge of Lenox.

About 17 years ago, he left the farm and came to Lenox where he lived with his family, until the time of his sudden departure last Monday morning.

Mr. Bubb is survived, by his wife and eight children, Leonard, Donald, Lola, Dorthea, Irma and Harlan, all of Lenox; Mrs. Lester Hines of West Liberty,Iowa; and Clara of Omaha. Four grand children also survive, one grand child, Robert Dale Bubb, having preceded him in death. He also leaves four brothers, Oren and George of Los Angeles, Calif. and Ed of Orchard, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Stringtown cemetery. Services at the grave were in charge of the Masonic fraternity.
