Wednesday, January 3,1917, Page 1

Sunday, December 24,1916, at the residence of the officiating clergyman, Rev. A.Y. Cupp, Clark Day, one of the substantial farmers of Douglas township, and Miss Nellie Jett, of Nodaway, were quietly married. Mr. Day is fortunate in capturing so worthy a bride to preside over his home. Mr. and Mrs. Day left at once for Hurley, S.D. to spend the holidays with the gentleman's sister and other relatives and on their return he and his bride will be at home on what is known as the Elvin Day farm in Douglas township.
